Texas Trophy White Tail Deer Hunting

White Tail Hunting Program

Thunderhill Ranch is a Managed High Fence Ranching Facility. In addition to our whitetail breeding program, Thunderhill Ranch offers Texas white tail deer hunting. The trophy hunting program includes lodging and all meals on site. Each hunter will be personally guided by one member of our ranch staff and there will be at most two hunters at any one time. Each ranch staff guide will have the freedom to escort their assigned hunter on any part of the 840 acre high fenced ranch. A total of six blinds are strategically located throughout the ranch; two of these are designed to easily accommodate limited mobility hunters.

Prior to any hunting, you will be required to demonstrate shooting skills at the rifle range. Our Intense Wildlife Management has enabled Thunderhill Ranch to present the opportunity for harvesting 150+ inch B&C bucks. Thunderhill Ranch topography offers a challenging hunting environment.

All hunters, prior to arrival at the ranch, will be required to acknowledge and sign a “Hunt Contract and Liability Indemnification Agreement”.

Ranch Honor

Philosophy :Thunderhill Ranch has a passion for high standards, and will always provide you with excellent service and hospitality. With personal guide attention; unforgettable accommodations, and a hunting and harvesting experience to be treasured forever, Thunderhill Ranch is ready to exceed your expectations.

It is the intention of Thunderhill Ranch to provide the hunter a reasonable opportunity to harvest deer buck of the caliber advertised by the ranch. In the event that opportunity does not present itself, you may return to hunt again at a mutual acceptable date.

In the event a shot is attempted and/or a deer is wounded, the obligation of Thunderhill Ranch has been met. Every reasonable attempt will be made to recover a wounded deer.

Safety is the most important factor for this or any hunt. Any consumption of alcohol will end hunting for that day. Be sure to follow all instructions given by your guide. Your guide will confer and coordinate with you to determine deer to be harvested prior to taking a shot. You must receive approval from the guide before any shot. Presentation of a 150+ Buck, approved by your guide for harvest will fulfill the obligations of Thunderhill Ranch; There will be no booking fee refund.
